Dr. Peter Fan has a passion for improving the quality of life that is often impacted by hearing loss. His focus is to educate patients about their hearing loss and provide the best possible solution to assist in restoring that loss. Dr. Fan received his Master’s Degree in Audiology from Hofstra University, and a Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Florida. Dr. Fan has maintained his Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) and is a member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) since 2007. He is dually licensed in the state of NJ and NY as an audiologist and hearing aid dispenser.
Prior to establishing Advanced Audiology Care, Dr. Fan was the Director of Audiology for a bustling, well-established ENT medical group and for the Mount Sinai West Hospital in New York City, and recently for a start-up practice in northern New Jersey.
Dr. Fan has extensive experience in audiological evaluations for all age groups. He specializes in fitting advanced digital hearing aids and aural rehabilitation. He is also proficient in electrophysiological testing, and balance assessment. He values the importance of continuing education and stays current with all new hearing aid technologies and diagnostic procedures. Dr. Fan has a passion for helping others and loves being a part of his patients’ hearing healthcare to see them benefit from the best quality of care that he always strives to provide. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 children.
